Paediatric patients are highly involved in this issue, as they are those who receive the largest amount of prescriptions of these drugs. The research participants were 107 Medical College’s 1<sup>st</sup> year students that formed part of the youth category as it is defined in Latvia, i.e., up until the age of 25. Background Little is known about the effect of non-nutritive sucking habits (pacifier and digital sucking) in the prevalence of molar Class in mixed dentition. The aim of this study was determinate the relation between non-nutritive sucking habits, and Angle´s molar Class, in the horizontal plane, and it´s relation with gender.
